HOW I CAN HELP YOU

HOW I CAN HELP YOU

The benefits of sports massage are not solely reserved for elite athletes or the injured. Whilst massage is one of the best tools in the repair of soft tissue injuries, it is also a superb preventer of injury. You will be hard pushed to find a professional athlete who does not include massage in their training programme. If professionals like Mo Farah, Cristiano Ronaldo and Alistair Cook believe in the importance of massage, why don’t we all?

WHY YOU NEED ME

WHY YOU NEED ME

In the same way that we go for regular dental check-ups and service our cars – prevention is better than cure. Unless there is some external trauma our soft tissue does not just suddenly tear or become damaged. A regular massage will keep your muscles and connective tissue in good condition. This is achieved by the therapist being able to feel any build-up of tension within your muscle fibers which can then be released through the careful selection of appropriate techniques. A skilled therapist will also be able to feel any micro lesions within your soft tissue.

THE LONG TERM BENEFITS

THE LONG TERM BENEFITS

You don’t need to be the next David Beckham, Paula Radcliffe or Steve Redgrave to feel the benefit of a sports massage. No matter what lifestyle you lead every single person, if you enjoy playing sport, or if your chosen pastime is knitting then a sports massage can help relieve those aches and pains! If you are a budding athlete then when it comes to injury you will probably agree that prevention is far superior to cure. A regular massage can help stave off any niggling problems you may endure as a result of training.
