About Me

I have been a level 5 Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist since 2015 and before that I was a level 3 from 2013.  It is something I am very passionate about as it allows me to help people either get back to doing the things they love or being able to continue to do them.

As a SRMT I believe that the key to your return to having a healthy, pain free lifestyle is movement. In my experience a large percentage of people come to me for help with some form of pain or discomfort which can be easily adjusted for with the right combination of soft tissue work and homecare advice be it some simple stretches or some strength training.

I am also a Silver member of the Sports Massage Association, some of their purpose is to establish and maintain the ethical, professional and educational standards for Soft Tissue Therapists. Part of the membership involves completing a set amount of continuous professional development every year.

The key message is that you do not need to be sporty to have a sports massage. We all have muscles and we all use them all the time, so it makes sense that from time to time they are going to get a bit tired and need a bit of TLC!

As for the run coaching, I have always been very interested in health and fitness. Growing up I tried my hand at a variety of sports most of which involved some sort of running, either across a tennis court or around a football pitch. I think it is this that has ended up with me loving running now. There is nothing better than a good run to clear your head and boost your mood. It was my aim a few years ago to train for and complete an Ironman, which was an amazing and challenging journey. A journey which led to me discovering a seemingly hidden interest in psychology and things you can use to help you focus on your goals, keep you on track as well as arming you with some tools to help push through the dark moments in training or during an event. All of which has helped me develop as a running coach. So if you are just starting out and need some help with a couch to 5k or maybe you are trying to make the next leap to a 10k, half marathon or a full marathon I will be able to help you with lots of aspects, not just telling you when to run and how far to go.

I look for ward to meeting you soon and helping you be the best version of you!

I have gained invaluable experience working at a wide range of sporting events across the UK and Europe, which has taught me lots which I can put into practice either at future events or into my day to day practice in clinic.
